Managed Website Hosting means that we make all your site updates for you. This will allow you to focus your attention on the success of your business. You won't have to spend your vaulable time learning all the various network protocols ( FTP, Telnet, ssh, etc.) or any of the website editing tools ( dreamweaver, frontpage, restrictive online editors, etc ).
Although we do not require that you host your site with us, managed hosting is by far our most preferred way to work. Due to our best-practices and common tool set, we can make site-wide changes in a matter of minutes vs. hours, making our Maintenance Plan extremely cost-efficient.

All of our clients enjoy a second test sub-domain copy of their website in which all updates are made prior to being merged into production. This change control process ensures that you are happy with the changes prior to publicly publishing them. Also, this ensures that your site is never "Under-Construction".
Unlike most web design companies, the Web Detailer owns our own hosting servers. Our servers are high performance Pentium 4 rack mounted systems running Red Hat Linux and Apache web services. The servers are maintained by the Web Detailer team and no other administrators or web developers have access.
The Network Operations Centre (NOC) in Washington, DC that houses our dedicated servers is staffed by highly experienced Systems & Network Administrators 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and features Dual OC-12 high speed connections to the fibre backbone of the World Wide Web.
